‘Italia dei Giochi’ is the programme with which Milano Cortina 2026, in collaboration with CONI and CIP, aims to celebrate the 2026 Italian Olympics and Paralympics throughout the country.
An initiative that embraces the whole of Italy by supporting sporting events organised throughout the country by public bodies and associations that promote the values of sport, Olympism and Paralympism, inclusion, sustainability and the culture of movement. A network full of energy, a legacy for the future of the entire national community.
The principles at the heart of the project:
- SPORT: A tool for change for a better society. We encourage the practice of sport, which not only improves individual health and well-being but also the social fabric and cohesion of the community.
- SUSTAINABILITY: Between awareness and participation. A new way of organising events, encouraging eco-friendly and conscious practices to leave a positive footprint.
- INCLUSION: A fair and open community, where every person makes a difference.
